We all experience life differently, my role as a psychotherapist is to help you navigate through life’s harder or unfamiliar moments. I practice using a client-centered approach that allows our time together to be specifically tailored to you, while utilizing various integrated therapeutic modalities.

During my years working in the mental health field, I had the privilege of providing support to those with acquired brain injury and developmental disabilities. I hope to instill a sense of guidance, and allow for new perspectives that in turn will allow you to grow into new versions of yourself.

I am passionate about multicultural counselling and inspired by my own Muslim identity. I bring a deep understanding and respect for unique backgrounds.

With many years of experience assisting children in therapeutic settings, I support children and adolescents with ADHD, anxiety, depression, social difficulties and self-confidence. I also work with adults facing anxiety,  depression, neurodivergence, life transitions, family stress, identity, cultural conflicts, or simply seeking personal growth and empowerment.

Lyn Lan Phan

Children 4yrs+, teens, adults

Specialties:

child & teen emotional regulation, anxiety,  depression, adverse childhood experiences, play & expressive therapies

I believe healing begins in relationships where people feel safe enough to be fully themselves. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, drawing from talk therapy, drama therapy, child-centered play therapy, and mindfulness, tailored to each client’s unique needs. I support children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional overwhelm.

My clinical experience includes hospital and community mental health settings, including child psychiatry, where I supported youth facing complex emotional and behavioural challenges. I’m especially passionate about working with clients who struggle to put their experiences into words. Through play, movement, creativity, storytelling, and mindful awareness, I help clients explore their inner world at a pace that feels grounding, empowering, and meaningful.
